Clarity may only be seven letters, but it’s such a big word it could be the word of the day for a month.
Like many words, clarity’s meaning can be subjective. For me, getting clarity means clearing away emotions, beliefs and ideas that are not aligned with my authentic self. Sometimes that even means getting clarity on what my authentic self is, but that’s a blog for another day.
There are so many things we may want/need to get clarity on. One of the biggest is, “what do we really want?” For most of us this is a tricky one because it tends to be a moving target; what we want today may not be what we want tomorrow. Here’s where the clarity comes in; when you get clear on the basic emotional needs that you most want to fulfill, i.e. security, love, joy, peace, strength, then you get some clarity on what to do to bring it into your life.
Most of us have no idea what we really want. We think we want love but it may actually be security that will fulfill us. We may attract relationships that offer love but since that’s not really our basic need the relationship may fail and we may feel that we’ll never find love.
Getting clear on the basic need you most want to fulfill at the time can also help you find your dream job, learn what’s next on your path, attract supportive friends, create better health, and so much more.
If you find that you are struggling in some aspect of your life it is usually an indication that you need some clarity. Take a little time to get clear on what it Really is that You want. Most times that’s all it takes to create monumental changes in your life.
