Sprinkle a Little Sugar on It

If you’ve ever tried to cheer up a friend or brighten someone’s day, but they just really wanted to hold on to their bad feelings and you felt strongly that they needed a ‘pick-me-up’ then this energy tip is for you.

Before we start I need to add a disclaimer here…

It’s impossible to Make anybody change

You can only Change Yourself

But…in changing yourself you’re creating an Energy Shift in and around you that you can share

Which when those around you…or across the miles (energy is boundless) MAY choose to Welcome In

OK, now that you have no preconceived notions or attachments to the outcome let’s get into it!

I call this Sprinkling a Little Sugar because most times when you sprinkle a little sugar on things it makes them a little tastier, a little more fun, it might remind you of a happy time in your childhood, you may even feel a little silly, giggly or mischievous…

And – That’s the Energy We Want to Share

Side Note: It’s not necessary to ‘feel’ or ‘visualize’ any of this in order for it to work. Energy is not dependent on anything except Emotional Intention.

1. So, the first thing you’ll wanna do is Sprinkle a Little Sugar on yourself by remembering a time that was lighthearted, fun, silly and it made you feel full of joyful exuberance. Imagine you are pulling all of those feelings back to you, and they are surrounding you on all sides. Then take a deep breath and while you do imagine you are welcoming these joyful feelings into your body (remember, these are your own feelings that you’re calling back to yourself) When you exhale imagine they are freely moving through all parts of your body. Let them swirl around for a minute or so and then imagine that these joyful feelings are being called into your heart center.

2. Once your heart center is overflowing with Joy place your attention on a person or pet you would like to share this energy with and imagine all of that Joy has turned to Sugar and is Sprinkling down over them. Keep in mind it’s not your job to Make them accept this energy, all you can do is offer it.

3. Whenever it feels that all of the Joy you created to share has been sprinkled or you feel enough time has passed say out loud or in your head – I share my joy with you in whatever way is best for you to receive it.

4. Also say – I return any energy of yours I may have received and I call back any energy of mine that belongs with me thereby releasing any obligations between us (cord cutting – this is an often misunderstood, and in many cases unnecessary ritual…but that’s a story for another day)

5. Then take a deep breath in and release it in one quick exhale to complete the process.

So now you’ve just provided some uplifting energy, which by-the-way is a super feel good moment for you as well, the recipient may choose to accept the energy right away, except a little bit of the energy and discard the rest, accept a little bit of the energy and hold onto the rest to use it another time, surround themselves with the energy rather than allowing it in, completely reject the energy, or any other number of things that may be in their highest and best good. Most times they are not consciously aware of the energy coming to them or their decision to use or discard it. And, None of this is your business. (This was a very hard lesson for me to accept)

If this person is an energy person, you can let them know that you sent them some joy, but it isn’t necessary for it to have a positive effect.

*** Bonus – Now that you know this process you can do this same thing for yourself. Whenever you’re feeling really joyful send some sugar to your future self to be used in difficult times. It will be there waiting for you.
